I graduated from York University in 2006 and have several advanced degrees including Adult Education and Paralegal Services.
I have worked with Youth at Risk for almost a decade. During this time I designed and facilitated workshops on Human Rights, Employment Rights, Budgeting, and Legal Aid.
After a time, I realized the education was just half of the battle. My clients were being taken advantage of by their employers, landlords, and even Service providers. I helped my clients build their own legal cases and get justice.
I left social work in 2013, passed the Paralegal licensing exam in 2014 and opened my firm in the same year.
A Paralegal tends to be a Jack of All Trades. I have experience with Small Claims cases dealing with personal injury, collections, and contracts. A number of my clients are Landlords who need help navigating the Landlord and Tenant Board of Ontario when dealing with raising rent, troublesome tenants, and evictions.
I have also helped an number of neighbourly disputes settle amicably.
